This app will also allow you to save and share your photo matches with your friends across Twitter, Facebook or our user-generated-content Dog Wall.

What is the Invisible Dogs iPhone/Android mobile application (app)?

In this fun face-to-face iPhone app, you can take photos of yourself, your friends or your family, and, voilà, with a little facial recognition magic, find your dog match! How do I get the Invisible Dogs iPhone app?

The iPhone app is free. Just search for “My Dog Match” in the App Storeand download the official app directly to your device. Or you can use your computer to download the app from iTunes and then sync your device. Note that you will need iPhone operating system (iOS) 3.1.3 or later to get the latest version of the app. You can update your iOS by connecting your iPhone to your computer, selecting your phone in the left navigation, and clicking “Check for Update.”

How do I get the Invisible Dogs Android app?

The app is free but has not released yet. Just search for “My Dog Match” in theAndroidMarket and download the official app from the Invisible Dog landing page directly to your device. Or you can use your computer to download the app from the Android Market and then sync your device. Note that you will need an Android phone with version 1.6 or later of the operating system.

What devices is the Android application optimized for?

The Invisible Dogs Android app is compatible with Android phones with version 1.6 or later of the operating system. You can determine which version of the operating system you have by going to “Settings > About Phone > Android Version” on your Android phone.

How do I use the Invisible Dog iPhone/Android app?

The app lets you take photos of you or your friends and uses facial recognition technology to find your dog twin. You can then share this info across social networks or on our user-generated-content wall. You can also save a copy of your match to your phone and use it share with your friends later or as wallpaper.

How do you determine the matches?

All matching is done by the application powered by the Face.com API. Don’t take it personally!

What devices will the Invisible Dog iPhone app work on?

The app is compatible with any iPhone or iPod touch with version 3.1.3 or later of the operating system (iOS). The iPod Touch must be connected to WiFi. You can determine what version of the operating system you have by plugging your device into your computer and viewing the device’s summary page.

How much does the Invisible Dog iPhone/Android app cost?

The app is free. Note that if your device uses a cellular network (rather than a wireless network) to download data, you may be charged usage rates. The app has not been released for Android yet.

Can I use the Invisible Dog iPhone/Android app offline or in airplane mode?

No, it is not designed to be used in offline/airplane mode.

How do I remove the Invisible Dog iPhone app from my device?

Press and hold the application’s iPhone app icon until it wiggles. Press the “X” in the corner and confirm deletion when asked.

How do I remove the Invisible Dog Android app from my device?

Go to “Settings > Applications > Manage Applications,” then click on “My Dog ID” from the list. Click “Uninstall,” and then “OK” to confirm. Note that these steps may vary slightly from one Android device to another.
